converted my Kia Microvan carb to a Harley Davidson carb thanks to some help from my friends at Blake's Machine, Norman, OK.

I actually got more power out of this but it is too soon to see how it will affect my mileage. The old aisan carb was pretty screwed up and mileage was already poor. This is just a toy to me so I'm not real concerned about the mileage. I just want the crazy thing to run! so far so good.

Do you have any findings on mileage? Also what Harley carb are you running?

I am using a butterfly type carb (not the cv carb) off a 1200 harley. I have read that the cv carbs are a superior carb. I'm using this one because it was free.
I haven't been able to drive it yet due to a bad vacuum advance diaphragm. That just came to me today 4/25/11 by fed ex. I haven't even opened it to see if it's the right part.

I'll keep you posted.
