Hi my name is DeLorean (My actual name is Corey) I am new to this forum but I have had a love for mini trucks since I saw one when I was 3 (I am 14 now)

I am saving up to buy a DMC Delorean (hence my SN) Which is really my "Dream car" I am working hard to do so. I wouldn't mind putting some gull wings on a mini myself. :D ;)

The reason for this message is to not only introduce myself but also ask a question to the owners who have done this:

"How hard is it to register a 1995 or newer suzuki smabar in California?"

I would image I would have to present all the necessary documents to the CA DMV I would imagine this would be a real PETA.

But the main thing is, is it possible to register one in CA one way or another?

I want one as a "first car" (I have motorcycles already). But it will be hard to convince my Dad to let me buy one. He'll say "Don't you just want a ford ranger or something" But with gas prices on the rise and I need for money for my Delorean I just want a mini.

I always want the one off things. (like Leno, but i'm less of a jerk)

Welcome Corey. Glad to have you here. However, be aware that the policy of the forum is to not facilitate attempts at "tagging" these vehicles for road use in the U.S. Please see HERE (http://www.minitrucktalk.com/showthread.php?t=188) It's sort of a long story but "them's the rules!" :)

Well, until about 9 months ago, there wasn't any groups out there! :D It's been fun watching our little communtiy grow. Amazing, actually.
