I looked under the front of the truck but didn't see anything that I could identify as parts of a lift kit. Maybe you guys can see something of interest.

in the picture of the front strut i see a spacer probably a 2 or 3 inch you can see it on top of the front strut where it attaches to the inner fender. this is what they sell as a lift kit usually with longer shackles in the rear...........

I don't even know what a strut is, but I see some shiny bolt heads above the coil spring. This is the strut and this is the spacer?
There are two pics of the rear suspension and I also see shiny bolts attaching a six to eight inch piece of metal to the rear of the leaf springs. Is this the lift at the back?
Thanks,

it has a spacer on top of the front strut (self contained shock and spring) and the long shackles lift the back.

Makes a guy wonder what the duct tape was for !

Ak,
The previous owner told me he "scrunched" the CV boot to prevent tearing. I don't know where the boot is, but I would not be surprised if the truck had been "improved" with duct tape and magic glue.

Samurai ,
The tape is wrapped around your strut, and your CV is your drive shaft from the differential to the outer hub . The boot is the rubber accordian lookinh thing that keeps dirt and muck out of your CVs !
Hope that helps explain it !

Bret,
This absolutely helps. I am actually learning something.
Best wishes,
