how to tell the year model

how do i tell the year model on a minicab, it has a five speed.

check the tabs on the base of the seatbelts for the year. look under the seats on the frame for the model# it will start with a "U" then 2 digits, next will be a letter telling the body type.... D=dump body, V=van, T=truck bed(no dump) U= mighty mits series.
