I've been wondering if anyone is putting different shocks on their trucks when they put a lift kit on. If so, what kind have you found that work? Are you able to get them from your local parts store, or are you ordering them from somewhere?
Also, when it comes to putting ATV wheels on, can those wheels be found with different offsets? Or are they pretty much all the same? What wheel sizes are being used with and without lift kits? Has anyone found one brand of wheels to be much better than others? Thanks in advance!

Sorry to be pushy, but does anyone have experience they could share? It would be greatly appreciated by those of us just getting started with kei trucks. Thanks!:D

Well after buying two sets of wheels, I learned that it ain't as easy as you would think. The main thing is deciding what tire and size your gonna be running. Take off one of your stock wheels and measure the backspacing and then allow a little extra for the sidewall of the tire. Maybe this helped(?).

You will need a wheel with an 5+2 off set. Example; ITP made for an Artic Cat 4 wheeler ,4 front wheels, 110mm will fit a Suzuki Carry pattern. Suzuki has two or three differant patterns so you will need me measure.
The 5+2 off set will fit Suzuki, Subaru, Mitsubishi, and Daihatsu. I don't know what wheels are being used for Hondas.
When buying lug nuts, these trucks will take a 12x1.25 or a 12x1.50, just take a lug nut with you to a tire shop and they will match up what you need.

I work for a company in Japan that exports kei trucks and have a fair bit of knowledge of them.
Please send me any questions you have and I`ll try my best to answer them.

Look on my web sit to see what wheels fit. It is not as simple as it seem and you may get the wrong thing if you try and find them on your own.

We will replace shocks sometimes when installing a lift. Some of the stock shocks are not long enough. I also like our replacement shocks for performance perposes as well.

Same here. When lifting Mit's we almost always change out the rear shocks. The stock shocks are not long enough and you get a much better ride with a $40 set of gas shocks. you can get them at your local auto part. Just take you old shock up there and tell them u need a couple of inches longer with same connection size.

Thanks for your answers. I guess I'm still a little undecided about the lift kits at this point, and may just go with smaller ATV tires that don't require one.
