Does anyone have access to which ATVs have which bolt patterns? I.E., one post I read from the archives suggests that some older Yamaha models/years may have 4x100 or possibly 4x4"? If any one of the vendors on here has a decent relationship with your wheel supplier, they might be able to give you that info?

This info on a chart by brand/year would make a GREAT sticky topic!

Yes, I did try the search function. It is possible I did not try the correct combo of words to find this info.:frustration:

Try www.itptires.com, they have a good ATV wheel fitment chart with lug patterns and wheel offset information.Look under Tech Info and you will find the wheel chart.

Thanks! Good info but not very promising, only a very few 4x4 and no 4x100... but it did seem to be only newer models listed.

How did you fill in the open frame space between the front and rear wheels?
Now I have to try and do this. That looks awesome.:D

Thanks!
The rear fenders are pretty easy depending on how much time/money you want to put into them. I hated the way you could see all the frame and mechanicals from the side, made the truck look unfinished so I cleaned mine up a little. I also added flares to each corner and molded those in. Still plan to add the rubber lips to the flares, but thats after paint.

I started at my local fab shop (any place that does sheet metal can do it). Had them shear me off a couple pieces of 20 gauge steel, 15 inches wide by a little over 6 ft long. While I was there, I had them flange the top and bottom down the 6ft length (basically a Z shape) on their 8ft brake. This added rigidity and gave me a way to mount to the body. I took the pieces home and used an old piece of 6 inch PVC pipe to form the curve around by hand. On the rear corners, I don't have a fancy english wheel or the knowledge to use one, so I took some 1 inch steel tube, put it in a vise and heated it with a torch. Bent a gentle curve in it and used it for the very end of the fender.
This is the basic stuff to get you started if you wanna try it.
I'd be glad to post some real pics (not crappy camera phone pics like above) if you think it would help or just want to see them.

Yes, If you have time I would really like to see more pictures. I kinda get the idea, and will try this, but my craftsman skill sets are in wood working - not metal. But I am learning and lovin' it because It seems i can screw up more with metal and still fix it. This will be a fun project.

Is that a Dirt Bike silencer sticking through the back of your truck in these pictures?

Its a stock Hyabusa streetbike muffler. They are on fleabay all the time for really cheap. Still nice and quiet but cleans up underneath and adds a little low end power.

Did the busa silencer do anything to the fuel milage?

Sent Riley a couple PMs.
New muffler was really about changing the sound and freeing up the exhaust a little. Bigger exhaust/headers usually hurt the mileage a little, but free up some torque down low.
