Someone please help, I started my truck after work today and noticed that durring my trip home as I would excellerate the truck would stop reving and almost come to a complete stop. When it is not completley losing power it seems to alternate between excelerating and dying as if it was running out of gas but the tank was filled two days ago.

I was talking to a buddy about my problem and he thought it might be the fuel filter unfortunatley I know very little about them. can anyone tell me where to check please?

fuel filter should be between the pump and carb . it should be about 2 inches in diameter.
take the 2 clamps off and pull it out of the gas lines . have a golf tee or some thing to plug the incoming line so that it doesn't leak all your gas out. if it is stopped up, dirt will run out and it will be hard to blow through. you should be able to get one with the same size fittings for a few bucks at the parts store .
mine did this after the first fillup . i think all the trash got in it while shipping. it would run great for a mile then go dead . then after much cranking it would run fine for a while till the next spazm.
