ActuallyI payed $1300 for my 1989 Subaru Sambar that didnt run and was a little beat up. I got itrunning afte a very good carb clensing and new plugs, oh and taking the screws out of the timeing belt adjust so I could get an inch beyond its stop point(I think the timing belt jumped a few cogs :)) but I ran her to town and back(10 miles) topped out at 45(running like ****, its a 2 cylander 550 cc btw).. but anyways im replacing the engine with a 1300 hayabusa engine.. debating on the turbo kit I locted in canada(its $6000 but it puts out 500+ at the whhels) tempting but not sure about that yet.
