Different Sambars

Hey guys,

I have noticed that some sambars have square lights and others have circle. At first I thought it was because the older ones had circle and new had square, but then I discovered a site that had a 1992 Subaru Sambar "super deluxe" that had circle lights. And on the same site they have a 1992 Subaru Sambar that has the square lights.

So what is the difference with this "super deluxe"?

Actually, I think what the deal is that there was some spill-over during the model year change in 1992. I say that as I've got a huge number of various year Sambar pictures that I've collected and there definitely seems to be both types of lights for 1992. You may be right that there was a model distinction too but I just think that they made round light ones into calendar year '92 before making the full change to the square lights. Just my opinion! :)
