Hi there-

Been looking at ways to get a bumper with a receiver hitch mounted on my 96 ACTY...

Not a lot to mount to, or so it seems. Anyone have suggestions or done this before?

Did you ever get a hich mounted? I'm in the same situation.

I could fabricate one myself but there isn't much room back there for a hitch. Just wondering if anyone accomplished this so I can copy. I already fabricated one for my Mits Minicab and it performce well.

Ok... wasn't sure what the back of the acty looks like. Fabricated a hitch for my mits as well. Check it out at

Did you ever get a solution for your Honda? I have a 97 Acty, looking for a bumper / receiver solution too... mounting looks like it could be tricky.

Nope, never did. Someone else bought it from me and I ended up keeping a Diahatsu Hijet and mounting a front hitch on it.

We have had some in the past. Allied / Acid Gear units I believe....

Allied in Michigan is were I purchased my snow plow and front hitch. Both had to be modified and beefed up considerably to handle a Canadian winter.

Thanks. Got them at a custom wheel shop in Overland Park, Kansas called KC Trends. They are 13" American Racing Estrella (http://www.americanracingwheelsinfo.com/American_Racing_Estrella.htm) wheels, matched for early 90's Honda Civic.
