1995 Dec Van Lift Kit?

Has anyone lifted a dec van?

I bought a 3" kit from a guy and he said it would work fine on it.

Well, it did on the drivers side but the pass side would not even get close to bolting back up with out hitting the cv axel.

I have seen them lifted so I know there has to be someone that makes the kit that will work on this thing.

I recommend not buying from Sid or Buzz (Extreme Machines)...purchased a $500+ lift kit from them and the quality of the lift wasn't worth a crap! :mad:

Spend the $$$'s on a supplier that has a reputable reputation and not on one that produces junk. :(

I have bought at least 3 and have a 4th on order now and have been nothing but pleased with the quality and support from Sid.

Who are you using for 6" or greater lifts?

The lift I purchased is the 8" lift for a '95 HiJet.

Congrats on being satisfied with their lift kits. Hopefully they did a better job on yours than they did on mine. ;)

I haven't even installed the lift kit yet as the parts and bolt holes don't even come close to lining up. Good idea on the lift...crap for quality. :(

I sure would give Sid a call. He will make things right if there is a problem.

On my first installation, I had to call him several times at all hours of the night. He was nothing but helpful.

For example: I ordered one of his bumpers due to me being so far behind on my own production. The "drop" of the bracket was not enough to clear below the tail lights. I called and sent a picture. Within about 4 days, I had new brackets at no charge.

I would even be interested in purchasing your kit. Shoot me a pm.

Are they still in business? I have tried multiple times on both phone #'s for sid and buzz with no luck.
