hijet motor

I have a hijet the oil filter came off and the motor seized up looks like I need another one. where can I find one mine is a 4cyl 659cc

repoman, make sure you are using the correct oil filter, there are some out there that seem to screw on fine, but actually the threads are just a little big and as soon as they are bumped they will fall off, good luck

I thought the Hijet had a 3 cylinder. Supposidly, Subaru Sambars like mine are the only ones with 4 cylinders. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm glad you posted this. I rummaged through an auto parts house until I could find an oil filter that looked like it would fit. I'll recheck it now to make sure it's not working itself off.

I was wrong, the man who sold it to me said it was a 4 cyl. I have since checked and you are right it is a 3cyl.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!
Thanks to Leon at Diahatsu.help . He is great, had a rod bearing that was seized and Leon emailed Japan and got the part number for the bearings and put me in contact with part supplier who had them in stock.
