engine access

I am new to the kei truck scene. How would a person change an engine or do repairs/maintance on a mid engine truck? Does the cab tilt forward to give access to the entire engine like commercial trucks in the US?

No, there is a panel in the bed above the engine and, on the front-mid engine models like the Suzukis, Daihatsus and Mits, there is a access from the cab. However, it looks like you could take the bed off of any of them if you were going to do something like an engine swap. Just my $0.02 :)
