Wanting to get some extra keys made up, but the local locksmiths don't have the proper blanks.

1990 and 1991 Suzuki Carry - same blanks, almost Ford-like in appearance.

1992 Suzuki Carry - blank is the reverse shape of the older units with a grove down the center on both sides.

1991 Mistubishi Minicab - Virtually the same as the 1992 Suzuki.

Does anybody have a souce for key blanks for KEI trucks?

The key I had made for my 92 Hi Jet was made from a Toyota blank.Go to a real locksmith, not Lowes or Home Depot, they should be able to mach up your keys.

Yep, I did go to a true locksmith, nothing to match. They even tried looking up the reference numbers on the existing key...no luck.

geez, it ain't that hard. they just need to find a blank the same general size and have at 'er. my spare is a much bigger key than my original Acty one but it works just fine. same thing on my buddies Carry. had a high school girl at Canadian tire cut them for us and no probs at all with em. surprised a locksmith couldn't do the same thing.

If you need blanks (which sounds like most people don't), please let me know and we can send out some.

Here is the "Ilco" Suzuki Carry key blank "X186 SUZ17" You should be able to find this or a cross reference at any lock smith.

Thanks for that, I'll see if the locksmith will co-operate and oder the blanks in....by the way, is that for the newer Carry? The '90 & '91 have blanks without a central groove, and they have the opposite profile to the ''92. Or do I just have an oddball '92?

That is the 1992 blank # I gave you. The 1988 to early 1991 blank is much smaller and no center groove. If you cannot get 1 I can mail you a couple. Your local lock smith should be able to find it with the number I gave you. They usually have a cross reference book or on computer.
Good Luck

That number worked, the same blank fits the Mitsu. With the aid of that number, we managed to track down the '91 and earlier too.
