Hi there,

I am a new member in this forum, so I think I have to introduce myself.

My name is Daniel and I am from Dortmund, which is in Germany, quite near to the border to the Netherlands.
I am an Daihatsu enthusiast and (currently) own a Daihatsu Charade G11 (1987) and a 1996 Daihatsu Hijet (Model is similar to the 1991-1993 Atrai/Hijet in Japan).

Hijet S85 - 1996:

Charade G11 - 1987

To get a better overview of the history of daihatsu, I started collecting Daihatsu sales brochures from all over the world.
I luckly got the permission to scan the public brochures and publish them on my website http://www.Hijet.de/ .

At the moment you will not find so many online brochures, but you can get a feeling of what I already have, when you look into my Weblog at http://www.Hijet.de/wp

I also own several old daihatsu workshop manuals (from the mid 80s to the mid 90s, and even some 70s stuff).
Ofcourse I am not allowed to copy stuff out of the manuals, but I can check out the tech stuff and try to help out.

Together with a friend I rented a little garage where we can work on our cars. At the moment we have:
1x Hijet , 4x Charade G100, 1x Charade GTTI, 2x Cuore L55/L60 and 1x Charade G11.
The 4 Charade G100 are mainly bought to strip them, so that we have some spareparts for bad times ;-).

Next to the daihatsu techy stuff, I love to photograph, so I try to attend Race events and make some shootings.
You can see some photos at:

( VLN is a 4 hour durations race on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife )

Thats all for now. I hope I am welcome.

Kind regards,

Daniel

Ah, thats the shop of Mr. Ozaki. I assume that Mr. Ozaki will be able to ship to the states too.

Die size of the whole wheel is nearly the same as stock ( 155/80R12 stock, new 165/70R13 ) because of emission regulations in Europe.

The Hijets in Europe do all have 5 gear transmissions (As long as they aren't older than 1991). I made a little overview of the hijet gearboxes I know of at http://www.hijet.de/getriebe-und-differenziale.81.0.html

Cheers,

Daniel
