Talk to Chad here on the site. I bought a couple for my '95 from him.

i work at an Advance DC so i have some inside info. but if any autoparts seller won't take the time to look up the filter , then they don't like your money!
as a side note
most larger filter books will have a list that shows filters by shape and size. rather than just what it fits.

Send or post a pic and the measurments. I have an interchange book with listed dimensions. I can see if I can cross it over to something more common.

I am going to need the information anyway when every I need to change mine in my HIJET.

Midway If yours has a part number on it go to the K&N web site and try to cross reference it. You can also look it up by the measurements there also thats the only place I could get a cross reference for a Mitsubishi Minicab

Tuz,the part number on my stock air filter is MD620584 found it on top of the filter. Have not bought a replacement yet but wanted to know what was out there so i got on the net and could only find a cross reference number for the stock number on the K&N filters website that showed K&N part number 33-2740. It has the same measurements as the stock filter so i think it will work

I found my air filter at NAPA. I brought in my old one and it ended up being a wix. The part number is FIL 6257. Mine has the 550cc engine and is a cylindrical filter, so I'm not sure if it is the same filter or not? Eric

my truck is a jumbo cab, has a 547cc, 1993 model, factory air filter # is 17801-87508-000.
got # out of factory parts book. Jones Equipment(817-698-0500) will most likely have it in stock.

I found a filter at napa (number in shop) that was about 1/4" shorter. Filled the air cleaner cap with 1/4" of fiberglass resin and works perfectly. Original filter would allow some dirt on the interior of the carb and it would run terrible. 7000 km and no problems. Also used polaris filter KN303 for the engine oil.
