I got one as well....another to watch for is the UPS we can't deliver blah blah blah..and asks you to click a link to see where to get your stuff...UPS leaves a card on your door no email....

There is another nasty email virus going around with reference to a amazon order.... dont open just delete it. If you actually have a pending amazon order look it up through the website not this email... I also got that PM, just deleted it!

i once got a very convincing email. was from no-ip.com and was concerning my account was to expire. lucky me i opened a new tab and logged in instead of following the links in the email!! at the bottom was a little writing in light grey, turns out it was sent from a joke email site...

All you need to do now is make it that they have to be a member for 48hrs before they can start a new post.

I could list more than 100 users where that wouldn't work. Spammers signed up and don't come back for days. If you moderate the posts and they have to have at least 5 good posts they won't be able to PM anyone.

I do think its a good idea requiring some posts before you can pm someone. On that subject tho, why is my number of posts stuck on 3? I know i have at least 5 now.

Posts don't up the count in the news and site support, mini lounge, and classifieds sections, just another way to weed out the fake posters.
