98 or 99 That is the question!!!

First off, let me say this forum is the best thing since sliced bread. I just purchased a Susuki Carry and it's awsome. I'm in the process of lifting it up and waiting on my wheels and tires. My question is, is it a 98 or a 99? The wheels are forward in the front like the 99's and the interior is the same. The seat belts say 98 and when I bought it, the guy's paper work he got from the shipment said 98. It only has 19000 miles on it, so I'm not sure. Any thoughts? And what's up with the flare? I'm liable to hurt myself with that!

It's probably a '99 model year which was built in '98.

EFI engine? IIRC, Suzuki went to EFI in 99.

Sounds like a 99 with 98 seatbelts.
If it is the new shape (slightly bigger front end) it is a 1999. :)

Sweet, I guess I got a hell of a deal, 30,000km for $5,300. The guy I bought it from, thought it was a 98. Thanks for the help Youngauto.
