I'll get some and post on Tuesday. The inside of mine looks identical to yours except mine has 2 seats with a parking brake in the middle and yours looks like a bench seat. The bed on mine and the access are the same. I did notice that the headlight setup is different. Mine has just a round ring around the headlights and yours are rectangle.

Figured I could get some shots on the trailer instead of waiting. Let me know whats different.

what year was yours again? they are pretty much completely different, my battery is under body in front of the drivers side rear wheel, the interior is completely different, i like yours better,

It's an 88, the battery on mine originally was under the bed on the passenger side by the windshield washer reservoir but the previous owner put in a bigger battery and mounted it in the front of the bed. I moved it to the front/side to make room for the toolbox.
Interior dash looks similar, just some tweaks between years I guess. I noticed that your brake fluid refill is in the center at the front floor. Mine is in a panel on the side of the dashboard. Pretty amazing how those guys put these things together.

Rims - tires ....
those look HUGE

I have a 92 ACTY

Having a HECK of a time trying to get rims that will fit
And I am only trying to get street stuff to work

My latest attempt was 13's from a 95 civic
The rims are rubbing the struts ( so obviously the spacing is wrong )

I have tried rims from an escort, same thing
from a subaroo justy and older suzki swift - wrong bolt pattern

So it would be good to know
tires, rims, spacers????

I'm not the one with all the answers on this subject. I bought it this way and most on these forums would probably tell me that the lift is too high and the tires are too big, maybe so. I believe the guy that sold it to me said that the ATV tires are 26". Don't really know what size rims I have but the bolt pattern is the same as the stock wheels that he gave me. Read another post saying that the bolt pattern should be 4x100 on these and if you use a 10-15mm spacer you can run wheels with a fwd offset without interference (don't really understand what that last part means) I do get a slight rub when cranking the wheel in reverse but other than that, it works for me.

Well for some strange reason i tried some different wheels on mine today and the stud pattern is bigger than anything i can find, why would brittish one's be different to then you have in the U.S?

Was yours imported for use in Britain or brought over from Japan? Mines straight from Tokyo, maybe that's the difference.

That's the difference, mine has Japanese all over it, even on a couple of items on the dash.

So what hubs do you all think are on mine then? could it be British leyland or metro wheels?

well if you ever have to take them off for some reason...
try to measure the backspacing
see if you have any spacers - and what size
measure the studs to see if they are longer than standard

I know its a lot to ask

but only if you have the wheel off for some reason

today i tried wheel off of a volks schirocco

they were close
right bolt pattern
very close back spacing
but still not right
nice tire height

but would need studs about twice as long as what i have now
plus spacers

Do you have a store there that specializes in wheels and tires? I'd take one there and see what they say. There has to be something that will fit.

I did take my tires off a couple of days ago and there are spacers, 2 on the back, either 3/8" or 1/2", one on the front if I remember right. Seems like the lug bolts are standard.
Good luck pardner!

Thanks for the reply regarding the whels, i have tried every single make (manufactorer) but are all to small, the closest i had was wheels of a suzuki carry but still the bolt holes aint fair enough aprt, they about 3-4mm out, would love to know why the hell Honda did this?

Well my little acty turned the magic 100k miles the other day and is still going strong...

http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/vauxhallc20let/Photo119.jpg

But now the clutch is slipping like hell so thought i might strip this...

http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/vauxhallc20let/Photo121.jpg

For this as spares and rebuild it as a good spare unit...

http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/vauxhallc20let/Photo120.jpg

And also my drive shafts are clunking like hell aswell so just gonna drop the other complete axle and shafts onto mine

Did you ever find any wheels to fit?

blakkmoon
08-23-2010, 05:04 PM
Found lots that "FIT"
as in - bolt pattern
no issues there
but the backspacing is killing me

grabbed the 95 civic wheels
175/70/13
not much taller than what I have on stock
but nice and wide

with a 3/4 inch spacer the rim clears by about 1/4 inch
but the tire is still an issue

I have been all over town looking for spacers
nutin

on sunday I hit ebay
ordered 1.25 inch spacers

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WHEEL-ADAPTERS-SPACERS-4X100-ACURA-HONDA-HYUNDAI-1-5-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ290461976043QQptZMotorsQ5f CarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_4319wt_1165

prayin it works out

sorry, wish I could tell you more. Mine was setup like this when I bought it. I do know that there's not much clearance between the inside of the tire and the leaf springs. Good luck on it
