Need bronze status to post there. $15 a year. There is a link in my sig to sign up. Keeps this site running.

I know the site has paying sponsers but not being able to post up a set of your own tires and rims without paying $15/year is complete bull S**t. I've been on here about a year and i just wanted to sell my rims. First time i've ever wanted to sell something and possibly one of the few times i will. I've never seen this rule on any of the sites im on big or small. Big thumbs down to this new rule:(

Im not worked up about it, its just bs..
obviously i did post it up on other sites and not here. My wheels are not mini truck specific just thought that since i dont want to use them on my truck someone else here would.
This problem should be dealt with like other sites. If a moderator sees someone posting up a lot of non mini items or selling multiple new/used items ie sets of tires(more than one set of the same) parting out multiple mini's etc they flag the seller and warn them to stop until the pay a sponsor fee or be booted from the site.
Setting $15/yr fee is no way to handle this and really is not fair to forum sponsors as im sure they pay a larger fee to advertise on here. With this rule i can now pay $15 and sell items just like they do.

So because im selling my truck i paid the $15. A problem i do have now though, because only people who pay can post. The thread doesnt get bumped like on other forums drawing attention to it. I know a few people have posted in my thread but i doubt many more will so when people log on and click the new threads as i do it wont show up unless i keep bumping my own post. I guess its a minor complaint really but on other forums when more and more different people post in your thread it usaully creates a buzz and helps with sales.

You should be able to at least post on f/s section, just not be able to create a new thread without paying.

it was also brought up to that people can private message the user that has things for sale. might be worth adding that to each post or the sticky for the area.

Good point. It would be nice to be able to post (reply) but not list or start a thread. Then again I could always pay the $15 . Doesnt matter to me personally.
However, I have been private messaging a particular member selling lots of used parts and advertising them here, about wanting to buy a diff. lock rear end, and never get any reply.
Not sure why someone would pay to advertise, then keep updating inventory and re-listing, but never answer a private message ???
Maybe they are waiting for someone to post on the thread with an inquiry, and the majority cannot post... ?

This forum is bush league. I only popped in to see if anyone had a set of tracks for sale. Probably dont want to pay the $.
I was on this forum about a year ago having a good conversation with a fellow mini trucker and a moderator jumped into our conversation. Before I knew it he hijacked our conversation and made a lude reference to the fact that I needed to get laid and I had inferior genitalia.
Havent been to the forum since, save today, because I am buried in snow and was looking for tracks for the zuki.
Thanks for being open and honest with all of your comments, it makes me realize I'm not alone in my thoughts about this forum. I am a member of many other forums, as you are.....and I couldn't agree more.
