i have been searching only found info on suzuki carry anyone know where to find one to fit a 88 diahatsu hijet truck thanks.........
Are you just asking for Hijet keys or have you actually tried to find one by visual comparison?? I couldn't find any Subaru keys to fit, but did find a key that worked... it says NISSAN on it.?? Not sure why, but that's what I found to work. Maybe another brand will work for you too.??

Don't know if it will help you but I have a 93 hijet and only had one key. I went to home depot, the lady never even flinched, made me two more and said thank you. That was it! Works perfect.

If you can't find one let me know. I live about a mile from home depot, I can get one and send it to you. Mine work fine. As I said I have a 93, what year is yours?

We are going out to eat later and I will pick up one and put it in the mail tomorrow. If it works great, if not just throw it away.

BLES - I'm using a key cut from a blank for an '86 Subaru GL. Works great in my ignition and doors. :)

I used an Ilco blank marked X137 on the left and TR33 on the right. It is the blank.

I went to a local key shop. They copied my original Hijet key on two different blanks. Both worked. I think you have to go to a real key shop, not to Lowe's or Home Depot.

I got mine copied at Home Depot. They do appear to be Toyota blanks.

I have a 96 Suzuki with only one key. What blank works? When I went to the HW they tried twice but they were too fat and didn't work, even after I filed they to a thinner width. I need to know what blank key to try.
Thanks,
