Hello group new here.i have few questions… On my 1991 attack all time 4wd I have a UL gear and a diff lock in there. Once I press the diff lock can I use UL gear ? I am asking because my truck starts matching a mechanical hiss while it’s in gear ? Should I worry or it should sound like that? Also. Can the diff lock be used without the UL gearing ? Like if I’m going through mud or dirt in regular gears ? And when engaging any of this should the dash board let me know I have engaged diff lock? I know for new years it does. But I’m not sure if in the 1991 where I don’t even have a RPM gage if it’s suppose to light up anything letting me know Diff lock is engaged besides the button turning on green on the button. I've got a 96 Attack. There is a vacuum activator on the rear diff. Is the hiss you hear a vacuum leak? I've been told the diff lock only works in UL and UR, but mine works in any gear.
