hey sumbar owners i need some tips on installing a clutch in my 1998 sumbar truck. i ordered a manual but dont know thats going to tell me. clutch is still working ok but is gettn a little weak. would appreciate any advise or tips on installing a new clutch.
I looked through my manual, and you were right - it isn't much help The manual has good pictures and descriptions, but the first line in the section about the clutch repair is "Note: Transmission Removed" so it kinda starts in the middle. There is no stepwise procedure for transmission removal in Danko's manual, so one would hope it is fairly straightforward. If you're handy with such things changing the clutch will be fun for the whole family once the transmission is out of the way. Not a lot of wonder and surprises there IMHO.
