Dakar rally photos
Ever since North Africa became too dangerous to continue the old Paris-Dakar,I find it hard to watch. I think the juxtaposition of the racing technology with cultures and landscapes that remained unchanged for 1000s of years was one of the things that I enjoyed about the old race. The new one seems to have lost some magic somewhere...for me anyway..that being said here's some good photos from the current Dakar rally (South America)...photo #6 is my favorite
