ignition switch problem

The switch is going out on my93 db51t,you have to wiggle it a lot after turning the key to get it to start. can this be converted to a toggle, push button or something? the only switch I was able to find at autozone that might work was 200 bucks.

go to a pick a part or junk yard.... look for the electrical portion of a geo tracker.....exact fit with an extra switched hot wire

thanks werase, I pulled it off this pm and the slot where the key turned the switch is a little wallered out .I filled it with JB weld and put it back together and we will see how it acts in the am, thanks again for the reply. If this dont work your idea is next
