heater not working only in cold weather.SOLVED! I searched and searched expecting to find some info similar to the fast idle when cold but can't seem to find anything. Does the heater only work once the engine reaches a certain temp? That's how my heater is acting. We have had 3 days will colder weather. Each of these 3 days my heater fan would not turn on. Once it's warmed up, it comes on. puzzled....any idea what is happening? no manuals yet. 97 minicab. Update: A/C is not working either when cold. Solution: One of the wires from the ignition wasn't making contact when cold. Took the tension off the wire allowing for a little more slack in the wire, works all the time now. Thanks, Allteeth.
