DD51T Brake Job - Help please

I've done a few searches but havent found a clear answer on replacing the brakes on my dd51T 4WD carry. Here is the situation.

    1. I cant seem to get the rotor off the front hub. I can unbolt the rotor from the hub, but the hub wont come off the axle. There is a nut and washer, but i read on here that if you take that off, you'll need to replace the bearings... Any specific directions or suggestions?

    2. The new pads dont seem to fit correctly when I did a test fit. The inner pad that backs up to the caliber fits in fine (after I pressed the caliber back in) but the outer pad doesnt clear the rotor. Help....Im freakn clue less on this one!:frustration:frustration:

Im sure these are easy fixes (i hope)...

    Thanks

I added this diagram if someone can direct me to a specific part or parts. thanks

    That'll get you started,
The site is practaclly generational now, I've seen really good answers in threads that go back 5 or more years, from members that are long gone,

Use google to search, and read more than just the first page...

This is an old thread, just know the links in spaners' post no longer work but if you just put the title in the search bar those old threads can be found.
