potential radiator solution

I wanted to share something that could be a potential solution to a radiator issue. As I've talked around it seems people have had problems with radiators clogging up(including myself). I've called around and a replacement radiator is 275-300 which is outrageous in my opinion so after talking with my dad he said there has got to be something else. Im kinda like spaner, tick me off and I will go to the end of the earth to find an alternative and it looks like i may have.

I stumbled up on this radiator on Amazon, which is for a honda civic. it is an all aluminum radiator that is almost identical in size to the factory.

Here is my line of thinking, i took a chance a bought it and it will fit in the hole but needs some modifications to make it work but i feel if i had to spend another 50-100 im still ahead 150-200 and have a better radiator. It is a two row design rather than a single that comes in them which to me gives more coolant and ability to cool better.

I plan to have someone move the cap and put smaller hose nipples and such but i think it can be done and i will keep you posted but as far as size its almost identical. i will post pics later today.

A couple more links to ponder

That's pretty cool. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
So it needs a little mod. Can't beat the price.

I took it to a radiator shop in Jackson MS and the guy told me he could modify it and make it work. I left him one of my old radiators to use as a go by and he told me he could do it for about $100-$120. I will keep ya posted.
