Hello, Hoping that I can pick everyone's brains here and get some needed info. We are resurrecting a Cushman 4wd white truck and am down to 3 items: whose front axles did Cushman use? I need to replace the CV joints and have had no luck looking for Cushman branded CV's. Are they Daihatsu? Secondly, having done the Pinto ignition module mod, I would like to fix the 4th and 5th gear issues. Can someone please tell me how much material needs to be removed from the shafts? I saw a mention of "about 1/2" but nothing exact. Is there a post somewhere explaining how to disassemble the transmission? Third, anyone know of a source for a shop manual? All I have is a parts manual and it doesn't do much. Thanks all!
