Hey again--update

Hey guys,

Its been about a month since I introduced myself and announced my subaru was ordered. So now I'm giving you all an update.
Slight change of plans in that they got in a newer model in as well(2001), so I'm going with it.
Another change is it has the automatic transmission, surprisingly which I really enjoy.

I am attaching a photo of it in process of being finished. It should be done in about 2 weeks, maybe.
I'll send photos with information on the truck when it is completely fixed up.

That looks like a huge lift! How big is the lift? Are they fabricating the lift themselves or using someone elses? I've got an '02 coming in that I wouldn't mind putting that big of a lift on.

Hey Jason!

I e-mailed you awhile back about a subaru you were getting in. Don't know if you remember me, but I wasn't sure if my dealer was going to be able to find one, and this here is going to be it! But you were very helpful, so thanks again.

This has a 4" body lift. They fabricate it themselves as far as I know. The dealer in my area is partially owned by a man from New Zealand who knows these trucks forward and backwards. I'm impressed with their mechanic/body work skills.
This way with the body lift it will keep its regular driving dynamics seeing how I will be driving it on the road. I like the lift because it makes you feel bigger in the truck with a better view of the road.

And we're probably going to have 14" wheels on this truck, so the lift helps allow for that.

I'll definitely show more photos of the finished product inside and out when it is on my lawn.

(and I think you'll be impressed with the 02 model you are getting in. With that new body style, the subaru is wider than the previous, has nicer steering wheel (with airbag), and best of all---has cupholders!)

I do remember you, Josh. I guess I didn't put 2 and 2 together. Glad to see you found a good truck and more importantly a good dealer to work with! Can't wait to see pictures of the truck when it's done. I can't wait to get my 2000 and 2002 S/C Subaru's in. The '02 is due in next week - if I squint real hard I can see it sitting in the port in LA!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to Nov 1st. That's the main reason I went with the subaru because I knew I'd be on the road with my mini-truck and the subaru feels best to me on the real road.
But also excited that I can use it on the ranch in the meantime.

And yes, All American Mini Trucks has been very good to work with. They know their stuff and have a passion for these little trucks.
