Mitsubishi minicab 3g81 carb parts info

Hi guys.

I just found this site and hope that all my problems will be finally solved (at least the ones concerning my minicab).

I live in B.C. and just bought a 1988 Mitsubishi minicab mighty with the 550cc 3g81 supercharged motor. It seems to have a fuel problem and stalls when idling. I've had the mikuni carb apart, cleaned and inspected it. The diaphram in the bottom of the carb appears to be degraded and I'm looking for a new one or possibly a whole carb kit.

Surprise, surprise, no one around where I live seems to know much about these trucks. So far it’s been very frustrating trying to find anything in the way of parts through the local parts stores.

I've searched this site, and while being really helpful, I still haven't figured out where I can get the parts for the carb.

Any help or guidance that you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Is yours a left hand drive? If so, there are some automotive dealerships that can acquire the parts for the mitsubishi. otherwise there are several of the spporting vendors here that i'm sure will be happy to assist you. I have a left hand drive unit and there are some supporting manuals in the gallery and the reference section under the mitsubishi thread. I'm guessing that yours is rhd because of the reference to the sc. let me know if yours is like the one in the link below.

The minicab is a 1988 right hand drive with 40,000kms. I hope that I can find the carb parts, as its a hoot to drive.
