So, to add to the growing pains my 4WD stopped working lasts night.

This is my second time driving it, so I thought I'd pop it into 4wd and see how she handles the snow. IN 1st, the 4wd light was on as expected, as I shifted from 1st to second, the 4wd light went off, then as I went from 2nd to 3rd, it came back on, and so on.

I suspect it's the wiring to the switch that was being pulled apart, then pushed together as I shifted.

no other issues with the 4wd or any other electrical systems. We just got 12" of snow last night so I'm looking to see what you guys think before I dig it out and spend some time trouble shooting.

any thoughts on what this might be?

I drove it another 60km today, waited for the truck to warm up some. Still no 4WD dash light.

Check the wire to dash light of 4wd, mine sometimes no light but the 4wd is working, i found that wires are loose.

I bypassed the switch in the shifter and have a button on the dash now-works great
