Hi all, here is my truck going through its first maintenance regimen. It came off the boat barely able to start and with a horribly worn clutch, and seemingly many a vac leak, nothing out of the ordinary so far. The short list is: New clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing Full clean/ rebuild carb Most vac line replace and troubleshooting 4wd engagement fuel/oil/air filters and fluids checked valve clearance (all good in spec) replace spark plugs with BPR6ES-11 clean contacts on distributor So here is where my question comes in. In disassembly of the carb this item, which seems part of the choke assembly, has a crack in the gasket, but seems fine otherwise, so maybe RTV: Also the throttle plate was hard to get out and inspection revealed it is bent, and I guess I'll flatten it out if I can't get a replacement, it's pretty worn: I ordered a rebuild kit from G&R but these parts don't seem to be part of it, nor would the butterfly plate be anyway. Is there an alternative kit that has that diaphragm part, or anyone have extra parts they are willing to part with? Thanks for all the help!
